Our Story

My name is Dan Uildriks. I've been in the apartment intercom business since 1989, and my desire in life has always been to fabricate and design. See those cars? I built them from scratch, and it's something I'm very proud of. I built my home from the ground up, too. If I think I can make it better myself, and build it to last, I do it. That's who I am.

  • A built from scratch, one of a kind, custom blue car sitting outside on a sunny summer day.
  • A dragster racing down the strip.
  • A dragster sitting in the grass.
  • An orange and blue custom vehicle.

During my time in this industry, I've constantly seen difficult to repair panels that rust, fall apart, and are easily vandalized. With no luck finding a better product, I decided to use my skills and create my own.

Thus, VANDAL-COMM® was born.

VANDAL-COMM® panels are made with pride in the state of Illinois by my wife and I. We use CNC technology to cut them from stainless steel, bend them to perfection, and then install the working parts by hand. They are of the highest quality, built to last, and are what my decades of experience have told me this industry needs.

I made the plasma cutter in the video below. It's been retired since filming, but if it weren't for that first machine, I wouldn't be where I am now. These days, we have a precision laser to do all of our cutting. Thank you for reading, and I look forward to your business.
